The day seemed to be going a bit slow today so we were pleasantly surprised to hear from EH!'s web writer Khirriah Kodry that she's given us some mention on the website. We are one of four of EH!'s handicraft and decor blogshop picks for the month and that's truly something we can be proud of. :)

Solid Sugar Scrubs

And this. This is our famous Solid Sugar Scrubs. Aren't they cute? :)

Up here we have a freshly made batch scented strawberry and in a sweet, candy pink colour. We add in coarse sugar and sweet almond oil so not only does it give a great scrubby feeling when you slough away that rough patch of skin but leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised.

And if you're worried about ants, there will be no ants. We guarantee it because ants aren't interested in bath products. :)

It's only RM12 per jar, if you're interested. (Of course you are! Now grab a jar now and make us happy!)

Soapstar at We Do Bazaar

If you're studying (or working) in Limkokwing University in Cyberjaya, well, you're going to be in for a treat! Soapstar will be making an appearance this Tuesday, Sept 20, from 11am to 5pm at the university courtyard so if you happen to have classes on that day, please, please, please drop by our booth.

And if you're not from Limkokwing, no worries! Everybody is welcome to our booth. You just need to come. :)

Soapstar at I Love Bazaar, Subang Parade

Hola dear friends, Soapstar will be at I Love Bazaar, Subang Parade this Sunday (Aug 28) from 11am onwards so if you're going to be there to do a little last minute raya shopping, don't forget to show us some luurrrvvveee and drop by at our booth ya. (Duit raya, please!)

We'll be at booth No. 39 - that's right in front of Sasa and on the same level as Celebrity Fitness - so we won't be hard to miss.

We've gotten our name cards printed as well (finally!) so if you can't make up your mind if you should buy a cupcake soap or a macaroon soap at our booth, you can take our card home with you and call us when you're ready to make an order. We're ever so ready to leap up at the chance to whip up some nice soap, so do have us on speed dial. :)

Anyway, do COME! We look forward to seeing you guys there.

Soapstar at Syopz

Yep, we've still a long way to go but if you caught as last month at the KLue Urbanscapes 2011, you've gotta agree that we did much better in how we presented our booth at Syopz earlier today - that's precisely one of the reasons why Nadirah, one half of Soapstar's soaper duo and super baker, looks so darned happy in this photo.

And we did a pretty good job today too! Our Vanilla Oak-scented solid sugar scrubs were clean sold out! Thank you, thank you to all who purchased from us today. You guys are super!

We also enjoyed sharing our booth with Oopsie-Whoopies and Cotton Candies, who's passion is for all things Japanese cotton (do check out her website!).

So anyway, our stint at Syopz just ended, but we're already looking at where to have our booth next so if you know of any upcoming bazaars, do drop us a line! We would love to hear from you.

Visit us at Syopz, Taylor's Lakeside Campus this Ramadhan!

Everyone knows that Ramadhan's the best month to get your shopping done. Everyone's feeling a lot more generous then - so why not be generous with us too? Oh, we can hope, can't we? :)

Anyway, we'll be having a booth to sell our cupcake, macaroon and popsicle soaps this August 13, from 11am to 7pm, at Syopz - that's at Taylor's Lakeside Campus (Google Map it!) - and we'll be teaming up with Oopsie-Whoopies, who will be selling their fabulous whoopie pies. They're just the thing to get for your buka puasa whether as an appetiser or as a dessert after the huge buffet spread!

Sharing the love

Our first ever Australian customer uploaded a few pictures of the macaroon soaps she ordered from us for her daughter's first birthday party last month. We are very glad that she was pleased with the soaps and we are so relieved that the soaps reached her on time and in good condition as Evona was our first overseas customer.

Whoopies: The new macaroons

Or so our friend Hafizah told us. We're just delighted with all things chocolate, whether it's a nice bar of Toblerone (gotta love Toblerone), a moist chocolate cake, chocolate chips... or a chocolate-covered David Archuletta... *swoons*

Anyhow, Hafizah's decided that whoopies are more of her things than macaroons and so she's baking up a storm of them in her kitchen. And are they good? BOY ARE THEY GOOD.

Soapstar! at KLue Urbanscapes 2011

 

Yes, you read that right! Soapstar! will be making its debut appearance at KLue Urbanscapes this year so don't forget to drop by and check out our booth to get an eyeful and a whiff of our tantalising soapy dessert treats.

And then there's our ladybug soaps. They've yet to be sold here so you must! Not! Miss! It! They are so, so cute in bright crayon colours. :)

Sinful macaroon soap

Believe it or not - this IS soap.

Visit Soapstar!'s booth this 26th March!

Looking at pictures of pretty soaps aren't quite like looking looking at the real deal.

So we've decided to set up a booth this 26th March at Alam Sentral, Shah Alam along with a bunch of other people at a bazaar organised by Huiyo Bazaar. And why? Because we want you to pick up our soaps, take in their amazing details and inhale their fruity fresh scents!

We'll be having our famous Cupcake Soaps on display and for sale(!!!) in sweet colours, Macaroon Soaps, Rainbow Heart Soaps, our mixed I Love Soap bars (which have a funky tie-dyed effect) and we'll see what else we can whip up by then.

Please do drop by. We're very excited and can't wait to have you at our booth. :)

Popsicle Soap

Popsicle fun - minus the brain freeze! With that little wooden popsicle stick at one end, Soapstar!'s Popsicle Stick is a journey back to your childhood days of sucking on ice cold popsicle under the sweltering sun. We showed our Popsicle Soaps to a few of our friends and they couldn't resist wanting to take a wee lick. :)

(Although kids, we warn you now that they will taste exactly like soap for that is what Soapstar!'s Popsicle Soaps are - SOAP.)
